Fallout from WWE Saturday Night's Main Event | Clash of the Podcasts

·1 hr 3 min·5 clips
Sean demands Jey Uso pick up a steel chair and hurt somebody to fix his WWE storyline.
Raw has not started yet. Episode 166 begins a few minutes late, with the stream still settling, some new technical pieces in play, and chat already getting pulled into the room. Sean is back, the mood is loose, and Monday feels loud right away. Saturday Night's Main Event, Raw fallout, WWE complaints, AEW thoughts, and New Japan are all waiting their turn. Then Dom lights the fuse. His cheating has the crowd losing it, and the crew starts wondering whether WWE should rethink whatever plan was on the board. The win lands harder than expected. One host even throws out 667 days and a record chase, then admits WWE probably will not do it, even if it feels like they should. Chat pokes at him, of course. That turns into a running bit about whether anyone can tell WWE gets on his nerves, with Stardust taking a random shot from the comments. Cena takes over after that. WWE has put John Cena's last match behind a tournament that ends at Saturday Night's Main Event in Washington, D.C., and the crew does not exactly tiptoe around it. Calling it Saturday Night's Main Event feels off to them, because it sounds like the John Cena show. A tournament for a non-champion just makes them stare at the booking. Sean repeats WWE's framing of Cena as the goat, and the reply spins into full live-show nonsense. Conrad nearly pushes it too far, gets pulled back, and everyone laughs it off. WWE catches one more jab, AEW Dynamite gets plugged, November 20 gets circled for the Survivor Series special, and Monday night stays Clash territory.
