January 14, 2026·2 min

The episode opens by announcing Drew Starkey's recent career high with his casting in a major thriller film. It reveals that Starkey will star alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones in Karen Kusama's film 'Stan,' which is Kusama's first feature in seven years. The project is independently produced and written by Jordan Rosenblum, centering on a famous singer and an obsessive fan who decodes hidden messages in her songs. Filming is slated for June in Toronto, cementing Starkey's transition to leading man roles in prestige thrillers. This represents a pivotal biographical shift following his role in Hulu's Hellraiser. The episode then shifts to discussing romance rumors involving Starkey and Odessa A'zion. It notes that while no confirmed public appearances or business moves have occurred recently, social media and tabloids are abuzz with speculation. Cosmopolitan is reportedly working on a timeline recapitulation of their relationship. The episode traces their flirty history from being love interests in 2021's Hellraiser to cozy snaps at Pogolandia in 2023. It mentions a British Vogue nod to their relationship in 2024 and joint red carpet appearances at events like Vanity Fair's Oscar bash in 2025. A steamy clip from January's W Magazine Best Performances party is also referenced. The episode cites Dumoy Blind Items from December 2025 claiming they are an item, with Starkey reportedly supporting A'zion's I Love L.A. event and traveling from Antonio Banderas' daughter's wedding in Spain to Croatia for Outer Banks. All these details are presented as unconfirmed speculation, though their chemistry is described as suggesting more than friendship. The episode notes no major headlines in the past 24 hours but emphasizes that Starkey's casting in 'Stan' underscores his rising clout with auteur directors. It concludes by thanking listeners and encouraging subscriptions for updates on Drew Starkey.
