·1 hr 13 min·5 clips

Corey and Julian scramble with audio feedback while debating the meaning of 'shalom' as the Oscars loom.

The episode opens with hosts Corey and Julian dealing with audio feedback and joking about languages like Hebrew. They announce an upcoming Oscar viewing party on doubletoasted.com. Guest Zachary joins, sharing his South by Southwest experiences, including a failed attempt to see Steven Spielberg. Corey recounts a story about giving away a grill to a family where the mother later expressed romantic interest. He exposes co-host Martin for lying about being too busy for the Oscars, revealing Martin is actually attending a South by Southwest screening. Corey then begins his top 10 movies of 2025 list, starting with the Brazilian period piece 'The Secret Agent' at number 10. He highlights 'Final Destination: Bloodlines' for its fun theater experience and Tony Todd's farewell. Other picks include Ethan Hawke's performance in 'Blue Moon', the horror film 'Weapons' for its original structure, and 'K-pop Demon Hunter' for its cultural impact. He praises 'The Long Walk' for its character bonding and 'Backhand' for its chaotic Safdie brothers style. His number two is the underrated sci-fi film 'Companion', and his number one is Ryan Coogler's horror film 'Sinners', which he calls ambitiously directed. The episode includes a sponsor read for Shopify and ends abruptly as they transition to the Oscar stream.
