Episode 485: Movies With The Mouse – March Madness Bracket: Villains Showdown

·1 hr 50 min·5 clips
Jacob and Emmett bring in Steph as a tiebreaker for their high-stakes March Madness bracket of Disney villains.
A familiar intro gets things moving. The cold open piles Disney and movie voices into a feature-presentation bit, then Jacob takes over and turns a seating change into the first laugh. Emmett is not next to him this time, and that small shift becomes the reason Steph joins the table. The bracket needs a third vote, but the extra voice also makes the episode feel less like formal Disney commentary and more like family banter with microphones on. The villain bracket stays in view, but the best moments keep drifting off course. There are corrections, quick jabs, and half-finished Disney memories that do not need much explaining if this stuff is already in your bones. The airport tangent has that exact energy. They go from things seen on the way to the airport to a remembered sick stop, fix the city, and move on before the story gets too neat. Outside the bubble sounds strange in the way only that area can. The group talks through over-the-top shops, random stores, knock-off Disney gifts, and a poor friend living too close to all of it. Then Disneyland gets pulled into the argument. Emmett picks it partly because he still has not been taken, which lets the teasing do almost as much work as the park opinion. Disney World makes its case too. That side is more about staying on property, running into familiar people, and letting the whole trip feel wrapped in Disney instead of chasing one perfect ride. Nobody really buries either park. Disneyland, DCA, and Disney World all get some love, even while everyone clearly has their own vacation instincts. By the end, basketball, Idaho wind, warmer weather, and the usual Disney good-night rhythm turn the bracket episode back into easy table talk.

As heard by us

A bracket episode that turns park debates into easy, lived-in table talk.

The episode has a clearer spine than usual, with Jacob bringing Steph back for the bracket challenge while Emmett stays off to the side and the table shifts around the extra voice.
