Dear MOR Marathon: Ang Kakapal!

·1 hr 59 min·5 clips
Albert catches his wife kissing another man, triggering a furious confrontation about their 15-year marriage.
The episode is a marathon compilation of three listener-submitted stories aired on the Filipino radio program Dear MOR. The first story follows Albert, a 47-year-old college professor teaching at two universities in Manila. He recounts growing up in a broken family with a cheating mother, which shaped his vow never to tolerate infidelity. He marries Joanne after a quick courtship, and they have a son, Lucas. Albert's suspicion begins when he sees a cryptic 'I miss you' text on Joanne's phone from a 'Delivery Rider.' His doubts escalate as Joanne frequently claims work emergencies. The climax occurs when Albert and Lucas see Joanne kissing another man in a car. A brutal confrontation ensues, where Joanne admits the affair, blaming Albert for prioritizing work. Albert decides to leave to protect Lucas from daily arguments. The second story features Noreen, a 24-year-old admin staff in Pampanga. She details her relationship with Tolitz, a security guard at her workplace. While Tolitz is kind and dedicated, Noreen is embarrassed by his 'jejemon' texting style, messy Facebook profile, lack of financial stability, and failure to complete college. She denies him in front of colleagues, hurting him deeply. When Tolitz's mother is hospitalized, Noreen sees his sacrifice and agrees to be his girlfriend, but she continues to hide their relationship, leading Tolitz to break up with her. The third story is from Weena, a 21-year-old nursing student. She describes her painfully shy crush on Carlo, a schoolmate since senior high. With friend Reg's encouragement, Weena attempts awkward moves to get his attention, including a prank where Reg pushes her into Carlo, causing public humiliation. Later, Carlo reconnects and they date, but Weena feels neglected as Carlo prioritizes video games and a friend's cosplay gift over her efforts. The relationship ends after Carlo dismisses her fear during a scary encounter with a stranger, leading Weena to realize love isn't enough without mutual respect. Each story concludes with the narrator reflecting on lessons learned about trust, self-worth, and relationship standards.
