Jarren’s Outpost: EE #6 No One Messes with Family

·48 min·4 clips
Periwinkle finds his home invaded, his wife wounded, and learns halflings have kidnapped his wife.
The stare breaks first. Ian starts out frozen, staring at his feet, then snaps back the second family becomes the only thing worth thinking about. Nobody really hugs. They manage the actual-play version: shoulders, elbows, half-started contact, then enough feeling that everyone gets practical fast. The house gives them no time to settle. The door has been smashed open, blood marks the landing, and the voice from upstairs turns dread into a plain warning. Grok Grok held the line. Not dying, but hurt badly enough that age and injury suddenly matter. Ian gets useful at once, taking the children away so the adults can look at wounds without making the room uglier for them. The scene stays jagged: family drama, aftermath, and a medical check piled together. Little O shifts it again. Once he hears about the missing wife and the weapon, he promises men, a search, and zero patience for anyone blocking them. The table is very ready for that energy. Twenty-five halflings pour out with bats, swords, a chain, wagons, and crossbows, somehow grim and ridiculous at the same time. The rescue turns into a convoy. By the time they head back toward town and someone brings up the militia, family panic has become armed civic chaos.
