The WWE Report Ep #17: Survivor Series War Games - San Diego

·36 min·3 clips

Survivor Series War Games drew only 3.93 million viewers, shocking the hosts who expected more for John Cena's final PPV.

The episode opens with hosts Phil and Luka introducing their coverage of WWE's Survivor Series War Games PPV in San Diego. They start with the Women's War Games match, noting Charlotte Flair's team went first and describing it as 'mid' or decent, with surprises like Io Sky entering early. They mention Rhea Ripley wearing a Terrifier mask and a trash can lid spot. The conversation shifts to PPV ratings, revealing the show drew 3.93 million viewers, which the hosts find low for John Cena's final PPV. They compare it to other events like Crown Jewel. Next, they cover Dominik Mysterio's Intercontinental Championship win over John Cena, highlighting Dom's faked injury and Liv Morgan's return to assist him. The hosts speculate Dom and Braun Breaker are the future of WWE. They then discuss Stephanie Vaquer's title defense against Nikki Bella, calling it the weakest match of the night but the right result. The Men's War Games match is analyzed, starting with CM Punk and Braun Breaker, and including Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, and Logan Paul. Brock Lesnar's surprise return is noted, along with a hooded figure attacking CM Punk. The hosts debate the attacker's identity, suggesting possibilities like Chris Jericho or Edge due to contract expirations. They conclude by teasing John Cena's final match, likely against Gunther, and ask for listener feedback.
