THIRSTY THURSDAY: Did I Tap That? Featuring Jen B-T! Pt. 1
·2 min
The episode begins with a Toyota RAV4 advertisement before transitioning to the ED Lover Morning Show on 104.3 Jams. The host introduces Thirsty Thursday's segment 'Did I Tap That?' where a team member tells a story about a celebrity encounter, and listeners call in to guess the celebrity and whether they hooked up. Jen B-T takes her turn, setting the story in 2006 when she landed her dream entry-level radio job. She describes working for a 'dopest boss' who nonchalantly asked her to meet a celebrity in the lobby and bring him to his office. Jen admits this celebrity was a childhood crush, revealing she had a plushie doll of him on her bed at age seven, which she still owns. She recounts meeting him alone in the lobby, noting his casual jeans and friendly demeanor, including a warm hug. They listened to his new album in her boss's office, and Jen believes her boss intentionally gave her extra time alone with the celebrity by having her wait with him for his car. She hints at 'the rest is history' before presenting three clues about the celebrity's identity: as a solo artist, he was 'dying to give it to you'; he was 'giving me the right stuff'; and he was 'my knight in shining armor.' The episode ends with the call-in number for listeners to guess the celebrity and whether Jen 'tapped that.' The format blends personal storytelling with interactive listener engagement, focusing on celebrity gossip and nostalgic references.
