Monty Don's Christmas at Longmeadow
December 23, 2025·36 min·3 clips
Monty Don explains why Longmeadow's wet winters force a gardening sabbatical and how climate change impacts his schedule.
As heard by us
A warm Christmas garden chat that treats the holiday as a pause, not a project.
Monty Don frames Christmas at Longmeadow as a season to slow down, which is much of its charm. The discussion moves from wet winters and potting-shed work to greenhouse tasks, workshop projects, a large Christmas tree, and the pleasure of having grandchildren help decorate it.
