ARG Presents 295 - LIVE from Boatfest 2024

·23 min·2 clips

Aaron and Brent spin a $600 prize wheel bought for $25 to roast their friends live at Boatfest.

The episode opens with Aaron and Brent spinning a large prize wheel they acquired for $25, originally worth $600, to randomly select topics for review. They start by critiquing John 'Boat of Course' Schaller's wardrobe and sleep habits, setting a humorous tone. The hosts then reflect on Boatfest 2023, describing its impractical ramps and a closed lounge that caused issues. Brent explains a Clue game project for Boatfest 2024, created with missing designer HSI and featuring a pet computer character named White Hat Al. They review Frank, a supportive attendee who buys all auction items, and Rob Flack O'Hara's impressive custom van. The conversation shifts to Amiga-thon, a 24-hour charity stream that raised money for children but exhausted the hosts. Aaron and Brent discuss their own shows: Thanks for Giving is praised for its relaxed gaming sessions, while Aaron's solo Disaster stream is noted for its creative freedom but lack of feedback. They evaluate Boatfest 2024's venue, chairs, and community atmosphere. The episode concludes with anticipation for live Sprite Castle and auctions, followed by a humorous sign-off.
