Final Destination Bloodlines (2025) - All2-October Review

October 30, 2025·1 hr 10 min·3 clips
One penny triggers a domino effect that destroys an entire building in minutes.
The show opens with Michael introducing the episode and bringing in his cohost for the usual back-and-forth. They get into jokes right away, including the running bit about being unsalted and not liking salty people. The early conversation wanders through a recent Dumb and Dumber screening and a theater trip before the movie talk takes over. Once the movie comes up, the hosts focus on Stephanie and the bad family history that keeps trailing her. Iris sits at the emotional center, and her funeral hangs over the discussion. Darlene returns to Stephanie's life, but the hosts make it clear that Stephanie does not want much to do with her because she abandoned Stephanie and Charlie when they were kids. That makes the whole segment feel less like a neat recap and more like two people trying to make sense of a family disaster while still being annoyed by it. The name JB keeps turning up in the book Stephanie is reading, and the hosts treat that as another bad sign in the movie's pile of bad omens. From there the discussion locks onto the barbecue sequence. A glass breaks. One shard gets into the ice setup and then into a drink. The hosts keep following the chain as Stephanie scans the room and the movie starts turning tiny accidents into threats. A framed family picture falls. A shard flies off the picture and lines up with the danger in the drink. That sends Stephanie into panic mode, and the discussion leans into the franchise's habit of making harmless objects feel like murder puzzles. The episode keeps teasing one false alarm after another, including the bit where somebody seems to have the shard and then it turns out the danger is somewhere else entirely. At one point someone just drinks a bug, which is exactly the kind of grimly funny wrong turn the hosts like to poke at. The payoff comes when Howard gets run over by a lawnmower in front of the whole family. The hosts play that death for both its stupidity and its brutality, which is basically the movie's whole trick. Between the plot walk-throughs, the digressions, and the little corrections, the episode sounds like two people reconstructing a catastrophe together after the fact.

As heard by us

A chatty horror breakdown that stays close to the plot while keeping the conversation loose.

This episode follows the chain of events around Stephanie, Darlene, and Iris, then narrows in on the glass-shard setup and the fallout at the family barbecue.
