Deadly storms in North Dakota killed three and wiped out crops, forcing farmers to replant amid widespread infrastructure damage.

Sioux Nation in Fort Pierce, South Dakota, adds the infrastructure piece with a new indoor wheat cleaning facility after a five-year push. Holding capacity jumps from about 3,000 bushels of dirty wheat to 20,000, with certified wheat fields supplying lots that can reach 20,000 to 30,000 bushels. Country Blossom Farm in Alexandria, Minnesota, brings in strawberry season before the close turns back to high beef prices, consumer questions, Chinese tariffs, and New World Screw Worm pressure.
