TRADITONAL ROSARY - SLOW PACED - Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary - Monday, April 6, 2026

April 6, 2026·33 min·3 clips
Join the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary for April 6th, Octave of Easter, as we begin with the Apostles' Creed.
The recitation opens without ornament. Listeners are welcomed to the Joyful Mysteries for April 6th, the Octave of Easter, and the prayer begins with the sign of the cross. The Apostles' Creed follows, moving through creation, the Incarnation, the Passion, the Resurrection, judgment, and life everlasting. The rhythm is deliberately familiar. A line about Christ judging the living and the dead is repeated before the rosary continues. The Our Father comes next, keeping the traditional wording: hallowed, thy, and trespasses all stay in place. The first Hail Marys are prayed for faith. From there, the prayer moves into the Joyful Mysteries themselves. The visitation is named with its grace of charity, then the Nativity takes over as the main focus. The third joyful mystery is announced with its fruit, poverty of spirit and detachment from the things of the world. The decade is offered to the child Jesus, asking through the mystery and Mary's intercession for detachment, love of poverty, and love of the poor. The prayer then settles into its steady pace. The Our Father and Hail Marys repeat as a rosary meant to be prayed along with, not listened to from a distance. No commentary breaks the devotion. Near the end, the prayer turns to traditional protection prayers, including Saint Michael the Archangel and the Guardian Angel prayer. The final sign of the cross closes it plainly.
